Paul William Stauffer, 87, of Rehoboth Beach Delaware (formerly of Emmaus, PA) passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 7th.

Paul was a 1952 Emmaus High graduate, and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Nancy M. (Reifinger) Stauffer for 66 years. Paul served his country for 6 years in the

Army National Guard and retired from Sears of Whitehall PA after a 42 year career.

Once retired, Paul, with his wife Nancy, relocated to Rehoboth Beach, DE. He enjoyed fishing, reading, working in the yard, and playing cards. Paul’s greatest love was for our Lord, was a very active member of his church and was loved by all that knew him. Paul was a true gentleman, and always had a kind word to everyone he met. He was a devoted family man whose love for his wife, children, grandchild­ren, and great grandchild­ren was immeasurab­le. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, always providing encouragin­g and kind words, and never passing up an opportunit­y to share his love with them. Paul is survived by his loving wife Nancy, sons John P. Stauffer of Orefield PA., Daniel J. Stauffer (Jill) of Aynor SC, Matthew P. Stauffer (Sherri) of Emmaus PA, 9 grandchild­ren, 10 great grandchild­ren, brothers Lester Stauffer (Rita), Leroy Stauffer (Marge), and sister

Janet (Stauffer) Snyder (Richard). Paul was predecease­d by his parents, Homer and Evelyn Stauffer.

Memorial service: Wednesday June 15th, 2022 at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 129

West 4th St, Lewes DE. Visitation hour begins at 10 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the church (Bethel UMC of Lewes, DE).
