Linda K. Beck, age 77, passed away, with her husband by her side, at home in Santa Rosa, CA, January 30th.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvan­ia in 1944, she was a daughter of Arthur and Fern Haldeman. Linda is survived by her husband Bob and nieces Marcy Gerkovich and Tracy Hujsa. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Diane Kuhnsman. Linda grew up in the Cetronia area and attended Cedar Lutheran Church. She knew Bob virtually her whole life. Both being the same age, they attended the same Parkland schools. Friends in grade school, sweetheart­s in high school, they graduated in 1962. In 1964, they were married in the chapel at Muhlenberg College. Due mostly to Bob's career at Marriott Hotels, they relocated 13 times, living in 7 different states, during their 57 years of marriage. They retired in 1997 and built their home entertaine­rs "dream house" in Santa Rosa, CA. Linda was a devout Lutheran Church member and very

involved in church and community activities.

She enjoyed exploring wine country, gardening, swimming, Tai Chi, and romance movies. Her favorite crafts included cake decorating, and making candles and grape vine wreaths. Linda's passion for home entertaini­ng was well served

by her excellent cooking and baking skills.

She had a certain flair for creating memorable parties. People will remember Linda as a strong woman, a hard worker, generous, and kind.

One who loved people and was always willing to help others. Skilled in the kitchen, she loved to share the fruits of her labor. A gracious host who received great joy from pleasing guests. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 25 at Cedar Church, 3419 Broadway, Allentown. Calling will begin at 10:00 AM and burial to follow at Cedar Cemetery.
