Barbara K. (Buss) Shipe

69 years of age and resident of North Catasauqua, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 26, 2022. The wife of Robert

F. Shipe, Jr. for 46 years, she was born in Scranton to the late Robert J. and Shirley A. (Schroeder) Buss, Sr. Barbara was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville. She was a medical assistant and later office manager for Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley for many years retiring in 2015. A loving wife, mother, sister, nana, daughter, and loved spending time with family and friends. Barbara enjoyed painting, her animals, and spending time at their cabin in the Poconos. She was very much about family time, holidays, and her girl lunches. Surviving beside her husband Bob are sons Robert F. Shipe III, and Benjamin P. Shipe with Jordan Kratochvil and grandson Max, all of North Catasauqua; brother Robert J. Buss II of East Catasauqua; nephew Jesse T. Buss with fiancé Briley Decker, and niece Libby A. Buss; sister in law Judith L. Buss of Bethlehem; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family; she was predeceased by brother Thomas P. Buss. Services will be 11:00 am Friday July 1, 2022 in

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road Northampton PA 18067, with

Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiating. Her viewing will begin at 9:30 am in the Church Narthex. Interment will follow in Schoenersville Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
