PIAA champions, Olympians at East Stroudsbur­g South

Nine-time national champion and fourtime Olympian Kara Winger and fellow Olympian Curtis Thompson are among those scheduled to compete Friday and Saturday in the annual NSAF American JavFest at East Stroudsbur­g South High School.

Australia’s top thrower also is among those attending.

Several of the nation’s top high school throwers also are in the field. PIAA champions Kelly Leszcynski of Nazareth and Drew Mruk of Wyoming Area are competing in the high school championsh­ip divisions.
