Where to get best subs, hoagies in Lehigh Valley
Think of it as culinary architecture.
Each ingredient is added in a specific order to construct the perfect texture and flavor.
“The lettuce and tomato go on the bottom, then the oil and vinegar, then the meats and cheeses,” said Margo Cottone, manager at David’s Italian Market in Emmaus. “That’s the right way to do it. Then you’re tasting the meats and cheeses first.”
David’s Italian Market is one of the many restaurants to get your game-day hoagies (or subs if that’s your parlance).
With the Super Bowl on Sunday. we took the opportunity to check in with readers and ask where are their go-to places to get the popular sandwiches (hoagies, subs … they’re also grinders or heroes in certain parts of the country).
