See when, where Lehigh Valley teams will play

The PIAA girls basketball tournament begins this week with home games at the higher seeds. For District 11 Class 6A champion Easton, that means a home game at 7 p.m. Friday against District 1 10th seed Unionville.

Also in Class 6A, District 11 runnerup Liberty will host Upper Dublin, the sixth seed out of District 1. Nazareth, the third seed from District 11 will travel to Pennsbury, the fourth seed out of District. 1. All those games are at 7 p.m. Friday.

In 5A, District 11 champion Bethlehem Catholic will host Upper Moreland, fifth seed in District 1, at 3 p.m. Saturday. District 11 runnerup Bangor hosts Bishop Shanahan, the third seed in District 1, also at 3 p.m. Saturday.

In 4A, District 11 champ Allentown Central Catholic hosts Eastern York (3-4, 17-9) at 3 p.m. Saturday. In 3A, District 11 champ Pen Argyl plays Lake Lehman, the third seed out of District 2, at 7 p.m. Friday. Palmerton, the second seed in District 11, will play West Catholic, the second seed out of District 12, at a site and time to be determined.

In 2A, District 11 champ Marian hosts Mast II at 7 p.m. Friday. Northern Lehigh, the third seed out of District 11, will travel to District 4 runnerup Line Mountain(12-2, 8-7) at 7 p.m. Friday.
