THE CROSSROADS LAY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

of Moravian Theologica­l Seminary will hold a Zoom info session 10 a.m. Aug. 5. Crossroads prepares lay people for congregati­onal and community ministries including lay pastoring. AN OUTDOOR POLKA MASS will be held at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 6 at Jordan

United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, Allentown. The service will be led by The Rev. Glenn Beard Jr. and feature the Heidelberg Brass Band. SUMMER CELEBRATIO­N. Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network and the Tamaqua Ministeria­l Associatio­n are hosting a community “Summer Celebratio­n” 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at Trinity United Church of Christ, Lafayette Street, Tamaqua.

The evening of music, message and fellowship features the Blue Mountain Community Church Praise Band led by Pastor Jennifer Eckert.

Members of the Tamaqua Ministeria­l Associatio­n will deliver short messages between praise sets. Messages will be delivered by Rev. Rick Clemson, Primitive Methodist Church; Rev. Cindy White, Zion Evangelica­l Lutheran Church; and Rev. Debra Forney, First United Methodist Church. Other Tamaqua pastors will also participat­e in the service
