Marie T. Russoli

Marie T. (Vorholy) Russoli, went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023.

Born in Allentown, Marie was a loving and devoted wife of the late Humbert A. Russoli with whom she celebrated 68 years of marriage before his passing on March 30, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Malik) Vorholy. Marie was predeceased by her daughter Carol A. Hurst; three brothers; Michael, Joseph and John Vorholy. She is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife Margo Russoli, two grandchildren, David Hurst and Rachel Hurst, step-granddaughters, Tara Shollenberger and Amy Bernard.

Marie was a beautiful and special woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kindness and love was genuine. Her joy and zeal for life was infectious. She was always ready for a party or adventure. She was a hard worker, and an outstanding cook and baker. She always had an encouraging word and was steadfastly devoted to her family with unconditional love. Marie was a religious woman and her deep faith sustained her throughout her life, and we take great comfort knowing that she is home with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by our family and by everyone who knew her. Marie, you will be forever in our hearts.

Our family would like to thank all the staff at Heather Glen Senior Living and Ascend Hospice for assisting Marie with her healthcare needs and activities of daily living.

Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
