CUYAHOGA FALLS - Lorraine McBride Flagg, age 61, of Cuyahoga Falls, went to be with t h e Lord on Nov . 2 7 , 2014. Lori was the daughter of Tom and Raynette Smith.

Lori was a courageous, godly, educated, loving and “cool” woman with servant’s heart. Valuing the importance of relationsh­ips, she always welcomed friends and family into her home. Her devotion to leading life as a positive role model is the legacy she leaves to her family and friends. She served the Lord everyday through her teaching career, at her church and with everyone she met. Lori was involved with the Church ministries at Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, and as a leader for the Divorce Recovery Workshop at The Chapel in Akron. She loved to read, watch movies with her family like the Blues Brothers and Jesus Christ Superstar, listening to music like Motown Rock and Roll, and enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle.

A two year battle with melanoma presented challenges that would crush most spirits, but not Lori’s. Her husband, Tom, stood by her side and was her rock that she could rely on in her hardest times. Lori’s soul will live on in heaven! Her impact on those that surrounded her will be passed on to new generation­s. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, friend and grandmothe­r who will be greatly missed!

She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy A. Flagg; two children, Brad (Moneen) and Holly McBride; grandson, Gary McBride III; her brother, Jeff (Betty) Smith; and sister, Andrea (Bob) Azzariti.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road (Rt. 91), Stow, 44224 for visitation Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. Pastor Tim Schofield will conduct service Monday, 1 p.m. at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsbor­o St., Hudson, 44236. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
