Peter Noone to headline at Palace Theatre
For one night only, stars of the 1960s are making their way March 3 to the Lorain Palace Theatre, 617 Broadway in Lorain.
Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits will headline the concert and it will feature other 60s stars including Dennis Tufano, original lead singer of The Buckinghams, The Vogues and Terry Sylvester, formerly of The Hollies.
Noone, 69, is a multi-talented entertainer, who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life, according to a news release.

ter, England, where he stud-
ied voice and acting at St. College and the Manchester School of Music and Drama, according to the singers website.
At the age of 15, Noone achieved international fame as “Herman’s Hermits,” lead singer of the legendary 60s pop band Herman’s Hermits, his website said.
Noone’s classic hits include “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Silhouettes,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “Just a Little Bit Better,” “Wonderful World,” “There’s A Kind of Hush,” “A Must to Avoid,” “Listen People,” “The End of the World” and “Dandy.”
Ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over 60 million recordings. In all, 14 singles and seven albums went gold.
The Hermits were twice named Cashbox’s “Entertainer of the Year,” the website said.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $65, $55, $45 and $35.
