- Staff report

The Cleveland Orchestra is marking its 100th season of concerts in the fall, so Sweet Moses Soda Fountain & Treat Shop is having a sweet celebration.

The Cleveland Orchestra Second Century Chocolate Bar is handmade using premium Belgian chocolate and depicts Severance Hall, according to a news release.

The bar will be available for purchase in the fall, in both milk and dark chocolate.

“We are honored to take part in the Cleveland Orchestra’s upcoming centennial celebration and are thrilled about this collaboration,” Sweet Moses founder Jeff Moreau said in a news release. “The orchestra’s lasting legacy and commitment to musical excellence is a source of pride for all of Cleveland.”

Sweet Moses opened in March 2011 and is located in the Gordon Square Arts District.

“The Cleveland Orchestra is delighted to be collaborating with Sweet Moses for this exclusive chocolate,” Ross Binnie, Cleveland Orchestra chief marketing officer, said in a news release. “This wonderful sweet shop in Gordon Square has a special meaning for us, as it was one of the venues we performed at during our first ‘At Home Neighborhood Residency’ in 2013. Sweet Moses is a wonderful partner and what better way to celebrate our Second Century than by adding a fantastic chocolate.”

The Cleveland Orchestra was created in 1918 and is considered among the best in the country.
