• Sydney Orchowski of Lorain, is a member of Ashland University’s Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Orchowski is majoring in intervention specialist early childhood education. Orchowski is a 2016 graduate of Amherst Steele High School.
• Rebecca Prexta of Westlake, is a member of Ashland University’s Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Prexta is majoring in biology. Prexta is a 2016 graduate of Westlake High School.
• Garrett Rangel of Vermilion, is a member of Ashland University’s Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Rangel is majoring in computer science. Rangel is a 2016 graduate of Vermilion High School.

The Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society credits first-year individual students who have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average in their first or first two semesters.
Their purpose is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year, to promote intelligent living, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals. Alpha Lambda Delta continues to celebrate academic excellence among first-year students.
