Area residents join Ashland group

The following students are members of the Ashland University student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management:

• Keagan Frey of Bellevue, is a member of Ashland University’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Frey is majoring in marketing. Frey is a 2015 graduate of Bellevue High School. Frey serves as the Government Affairs Director of the AU HR Student Chapter.

• Makenna Myers of Sandusky, is a member of Ashland University’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Myers is majoring in hospitality management. She is the daughter of Phillip and Tana Myers of Sandusky. Myers is a 2013 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School.

• Miranda Eaton of Norwalk, is a member of Ashland University’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Eaton is majoring in psychology. Eaton is a 2015 graduate of Norwalk High School. Eaton serves as the Secretary of the AU HR Student Chapter.

The Ashland University student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management engages students in the field of Human Resource Management. Students meet on a regular basis with Human Resource professionals in the fields of compensation, benefits, global human resources, labor relations, diversity and organizational and employee development. Students have the opportunity to pursue HR Certification from the National SHRM headquarters.
