• U.S. Air Force Airman Jordan Malik graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Malik is the son of Tess Malik of Spokane, Wash., brother of Zac Malik of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., cousin of Ben Briedinger of Elyria, and husband of Amarah Dodson of Cheney, Wash.

He is a 2014 graduate of Cheney High School, Cheney, Wash.

• U.S. Air Force Airman Jacob D. Sladewski graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Sladewski is the son of Julie Perdue of North Ridgeville, and David Sladewski of Cleveland, and stepson of Edward Perdue of North Ridgeville. He is a 2015 graduate of North Ridgeville High School.

Davis is the daughter of Cynthia K. and Andrew H. Davis of Sandusky, and sister of Nicholas O. Davis of Franklin, Wis.

She is a 2013 graduate of Pewaukee High School, Pewaukee, Wis.

Hazlett is the daughter of Kay L. and Michael P. Hazlett of Avon. She is a 2015 graduate of Avon High School.
