Kramers wed 45 years
Ken and Cyndi Chevalier Kramer of Lorain got married on May 27, 1972, at Northminster Presbyterian Church. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Brad Rowher and then they had a reception at the Hungarian Reformed Hall.
They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2017, by having dinner with friends and family, nieces and nephews from Colorado.
Ken graduated from Admiral King High School in 1966, and was in the United States Marine Corps serving in the Honor-Guard for Admiral, serving four years, 1966-1970. He also served two tours in Vietnam.
Ken worked at CenturyLink in Lorain for 43 years, retiring in December 2015. He was a Palace Theatre Board Member-Vice President, VFW, AmVets, Kiwanis, Lorain Hall of Fame Member and former Lorain City School Board Member for eight years.
His wife Cyndi graduated from Lorain High School in 1967, and worked for Amherst Schools as Director of Transportation. She worked for 32 years, in six different Ohio districts retiring July 1, 2014.
She was a former Trustee of Lorain International; Stage Manager for the Princess Pageant for 20 years; and in Eastern Star.
Their family includes their daughter Melissa C. Folley and husband Michael of Lorain; granddaughter, Mikenna Folley of Lorain, who attends Amherst Junior High, and grandson Brandon Folley in the USMC currently stationed in Romania.
