Two Lorain County men accused of dumping the body of a woman who overdosed on opiates have been indicted on reckless homicide.

Gregory Ralston, 27, of Lorain, and Anthony Barker, 24, of Elyria, were indicted June 2 by a Lorain County grand jury on charges of reckless homicide and tampering with evidence in connection with the death of 29-yearold Naomi Caulfield, whose body was found in April on the side of Old Fowl Road in Elyria.

In addition, Ralston was charged with trafficking fentanyl and trafficking heroin.

According to police, Caulfield’s body was found at 8:52 a.m. April 12 by a woman out walking her dog. Officers discovered Caulfield had been at a home in the 100 block of Raleigh Drive in Elyria along with Ralston, Barker and 21-year-old Christopher Williams of Lorain.

Police said Ralston supplied Caulfield with drugs.

When she began showing signs of an overdose, the three men loaded her into the back of a 2009 Ford Explorer and dropped her body near the tree line on the east side of Old Fowl about 9 p.m. April 11.

All three men are being held at the Lorain County Jail.

Ralston and Barker will be arraigned in Lorain County Common Pleas Court on June 8. Williams is facing a single charge of reckless homicide in Elyria Municipal Court and will appear there at 9:30 a.m. June 7.
