More than 1,100 graduates were recognized for earning degrees from the University of Findlay for the academic year 2016 2017.

Students earning doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s or associate degrees were invited to walk in the University’s commenceme­nt ceremonies on Saturday, May 6. Local students include: • Maxwell Amusat, of North Olmsted, received the following: Master of Business Administra­tion.

• Jacob Barnes, of Norwalk, received the following: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

• Joan Baughman, of Lorain, received the following: Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science.

• Kyle Biglin, of Sandusky, received the following: Bachelor of Science in Health Studies.

• Breanna Bond, of Greenwich, received the following: Bachelor of Arts in Pyschology.

• Jessica Brooks, of North Olmsted, received the following: Master of Business Administra­tion.

• Tyler Burk, of Avon Lake, received the following: Bachelor of Science in Multi-Age/Health and Physical Education.

• Ashton Daniel, of Attica, received the following: Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Daniel graduated from the University with the academic designatio­n of magna cum laude.
