When officers caught up to the Civic, it traveled on to Center Ridge Road.

Campbell ignored officers’ lights and sirens and crossed state Route 57 travelling 70 mph, police said. The brief pursuit ended when Campbell caused a four-car crash at the intersection of Olive and Cleveland streets in Elyria.
