Nord Center names new executive director

The Nord Center announced in its June newsletter that the board of directors appointed Eric L. Morse as executive director for the agency.

Morse had worked as chief operating officer at FrontLine Service in Cleveland for 17 years, the newsletter said.

He will assume his duties at The Nord Center on Aug. 28. The Nord Center is located at 6140 S. Broadway in Lorain.

Until he steps in, the chief executive officer of The Nord Center is Interim Executive Director Betsey Kamm, who is serving as a key member of the transition team, according to the newsletter.

Kamm began her duties April 1 as interim assistant executive director, working interactively with William Richardson, the now-retired interim executive director, the newsletter said.

Upon Richardson’s retirement April 27, Kamm’s title changed to interim executive director.

Her appointment is scheduled to conclude Sept. 30.
