• U.S. Air Force Airman Jalynn R. Edmon graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Edmon is the daughter of Lisa and sister of Tylor Edmon of Sandusky, sister of Paris Edmon of Honolulu, Hawaii, and granddaugh­ter of Willie Jones of Sandusky. She is a 2016 graduate of Perkins High School, Sandusky.

Parker is the son of Chery G. and Terry L. Parker Sr. of Norwalk, and brother of Terry L. Parker Jr. and Aaron D. Parker of Toledo, and Jerry M. Parker of Lumber Bridge, N.C. He is a 2012 graduate of Norwalk High School.

He is the son of Shannon S. Baker and Darrin M. Terry Sr., brother of Devonte M. Terry, and husband of Tianna S. Crim, all of Elyria. He is a 2017 Elyria High graduate.
