COUNTY FAIR: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Lorain County Fair started Aug. 21 and will run through Aug. 27, at the fairgrounds, 23000 Fairgrounds Road, Wellington.

FAIR HOURS

8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

GATE ADMISSION

$5

Credit and debit cards will be taken for gate admission at Gates 1,3, 4, and 6. Windows will be marked specifically for either credit/debit card or cash sales. Checks will not be accepted at the gates.

CHILDREN 8 & UNDER

FREE

SENIOR CITIZENS (65+)

Admission for seniors will be free all day on Aug. 24. There will also be wheelchairs available at Gate 4 on a first come, first serve basis.

VETERANS & MILITARY

Admission for members of the military will be free on Aug. 24 with proper military ID.

PARKING

Parking for the event will be free

MIDWAY RIDES

Tickets: $1

The required amount of tickets will be posted at each individual ride

UNLIMITED RIDE STAMP

Stamps will be $20 Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 to 10 p.m. There will be a $15 Kids’ Day Special Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m.
