On defense, he had seven tackles (two for a loss), a sack and a fumble recovery. COLUMBIA, JUNIOR >> FOOTBALL, RUNNING BACK On the field: Coleman was the focal point of the Raiders’ offense. He carried the ball 28 times for 204 yards and three touchdowns, adding an 86-yard kick return for a touchdown on the opening kick of the game against Independence.

On the course: Bird won the Great Lakes Conference Preview meet on Aug. 26 clocking in at 20:09. The Rockets won the team title.

On the field: Denney scored a pair of touchdowns on three receptions that totaled 135 yards. He also blocked a pair of Edison field goals, including the gamesealing attempt at the end of regulation.

On the court: In four games, Kessler had 30 kills, a 91.7-percent service rate, five aces and averaged 4.5 digs per set.

On the field: Kunkle scored a combined eight goals in three games last week for the undefeated Panthers. She has 10 goals and six assists on the season.
