Daylin Dower
LORAIN, SOPHOMORE >> FOOTBALL, RUNNING BACK
On the field: In a 38-32 win over Garfield Heights, Dower rushed six times for 188 yards and three touchdowns to help the Titans improve to 3-1 on the season.
Chase Fernkorn
OLMSTED FALLS, SENIOR >> SOCCER, CENTER BACK
On the field: Fernkorn helped the Bulldogs shut out Amherst and Strongsville, and is a key reason why the Bulldogs have given up two goals in nine games and held two teams without a shot on goal this year.
Ryan Maloy
AVON, JUNIOR >> FOOTBALL, QUARTERBACK
On the field: In a 51-14 win over North Olmsted, Maloy was 10-for-14 for 258 yards and three touchdowns, adding thee rushes for 32 yards and a pair of scores, to help the Eagles improve to 4-0.

On the court: In wins over Columbia, Brooklyn and Oberlin, Minnich tallied 43 digs, 41 kills, five aces and a block. She also averaged 2.2 serves received per set along with a 40.2 kill percentage.
Jonah Pfeil
VERMILION, JUNIOR >> FOOTBALL, WIDE RECEIVER
On the field: In a 35-12 win over Perkins, Pfeil caught 11 passes for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help the Sailors improve to 3-1 on the season.
Madissyn Valdez
BROOKSIDE, SENIOR >> CROSS COUNTRY
On the course: Valdez placed first at the Open Door Invitational (21:23), 85th at Boardman (22:03) in a stacked Division II field and then won the Oakwood Park meet with a course record 22:02.
Devan Yarber
OBERLIN, SENIOR >> FOOTBALL, QUARTERBACK
On the field: Oberlin picked up its first win and Yarber was a big reason why. The senior was 7-for-11 for 245 yards and three touchdown passes, adding 29 carries for 231 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
