Gratitude expressed for help with dinner

On behalf of the North Ridgeville Office for Older Adults (Senior Center), we would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Pappas & Bitounis CPAs LLC and the North Ridgeville Lions Club for generously sponsoring our spaghetti dinner on September 22.

Lion Bill Pappas and his CPA firm, Pappas & Bitounis, stepped up to incur the cost of the fundraiser and the North Ridgeville Lions Club was there to happily volunteer and help serve some delicious spaghetti and meatballs to more than 350 people. Once again, we had a wonderful response and were able to raise over $2,000 because of their support.

I would like to especially thank those Lions who came to help serve and clean up for our fundraiser — it seems the entire club showed up to help. It’s always very busy and we sure appreciate everyone’s time and assistance that evening. We could not have handled the crowd and served over 350 people without your help. Thank you so much.

The community, especially our senior population, looks forward to these delicious spaghetti dinners held several times throughout the year. All proceeds raised will be used to support services of the Office for Older Adults (Senior Center) including: Meals-On-Wheels, transportation and activities.
