Vaccine clinics set for October 2017
The Lorain County General Health District will offer vaccines to protect children, teens and adults at the following locations in October 2017, according to a media release.
• Vaccinations will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, at the General Health District, 9880 S. Murray Ridge Road in Elyria
In observance of Columbus Day, there will be no vaccinations Oct. 9.
• Vaccinations from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at 9880 S. Murray Ridge Road
• Vaccinations from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Wellington Town Hall, 115 Willard Memorial Square
• Vaccinations from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Avon VFW, 36950 Mills Road in Avon
• Vaccinations from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Lorain County Free Clinic, 5040 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain
• Vaccinations from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at 9880 S. Murray Ridge Road

Walk-ins are welcome. Travel-related vaccines and resources also are available by appointment.
Clinic times and dates are subject to change, the release said.
All children younger than the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, according to the release.
Bring current immunization record, insurance card, and cash, check or Visa/MasterCard, the release said.
The General Health District participates in the Vaccines for Children Program to provide vaccines to children that qualify.
No child in the Vaccines for Children Program program is turned away for inability to pay, according to the release.
