Road work

The city of Elyria announced on Oct. 11 that the East Side Sewer Relief Project has progressed to the addresses of 128-129 Whitman Blvd.

There will be no passthrough at these addresses.

All addresses higher than 128-129 Whitman Blvd. will access the area from the east (Abbe Road) and access to addresses below 128-129 Whitman will need to access from the west (Gulf Road).

Gulf Road remains closed to through traffic and has a reduced speed limit of 25 miles per hour between Hilliard Road and Burns Road.
