• Host Wooster scored 17 straight points in the third quarter to topple Oberlin, 38-28. Zach Taylor passed for 350 yards and two touchdowns for the Yeomen (2-4, 1-4 NCAC).

• George Bollas threw two third-quarter touchdown passes, including an 84-yarder to Mike Carrigan for the go-ahead score, and host Kent State (2-5, 1-2 MAC) rallied for a 17-14 victory over Miami (Ohio). Dustin Crum (Midview) was 1 of 4 for 7 yards passing.

• Brandon Vollmer’s 23-yard field goal with 2:14 remaining helped Baldwin Wallace (4-2, 3-2 OAC) beat host Muskingum, 23-20.

• Rob Cuda passed for 343 yards and five touchdowns, and Zak Hurd caught seven passes, including two for TDs, as Case Western Reserve routed Thiel, 63-28.

• Western Michigan’s matchup with Akron was postponed due to flooding on the playing field caused by heavy rains. The game has been reschedule­d for Oct. 15.

• Terry Swanson ran for two touchdowns as Toledo (5-1, 2-0 MAC) took an early lead and held it, beating Central Michigan (3-4, 1-2), 30-10, in pouring rain.

• Cam Pedersen’s 36-yard field goal in overtime lifted visiting North Dakota State over Youngstown State (33, 1-2 MVC), 27-24.

• Darrell Langham made another miracle happen, a 28-yard catch on a tipped fourth-down ball keeping desperate host Miami’s drive alive and setting up Michael Badgley’s 24-yard field goal with 4 seconds left as the 11th-ranked Hurricanes (5-0, 3-0 ACC) somehow rallied to stun Georgia Tech (3-2, 2-1).
