- — Staff reports

The Lorain Police Department are looking for two men accused of beating a pair on Lakeside Avenue Oct. 28.

According to a Lorain Police report, a 25-yearold Mansfield man and a 22-year-old Lorain woman were watching a movie in their car in the 300 block of Lakeside Avenue when they notice a car pull up and two white males approach.

The male victim exited the vehicle to see what the men wanted. One of the men accused the male victim of “rap (ing) his own daughter,” and the other struck the male victim in the left eye with a closed fist taking him to the ground. The male victim curled into the fetal position in an attempt to protect himself and was struck an unspecified number of times including once in the back of the head with a hard object, which the male victim believed was a gun, the report said.

When the violence began, one of the unknown males opened the female victim’s door and struck her in the face with a pistol before telling her not to move. She exited the car attempting to stop the violence against male victim but was thrown to the ground by her hair and accosted with the gun, the report said.

Both suspects then returned to their 90s-style gold Ford Taurus and left the area, the report said.

The suspects are described as two white males in their 20s between five feet 10 inches and six feet two inches tall.
