Man sentenced for drugs in butt crack

A Norwalk man who attempted to hide drugs in his anus was sentenced Oct. 30 to three years of community control.

Jason J. Taylor, 40, pleaded guilty Sept. 26 to illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified government­al facility, traffickin­g in drugs, possession of drugs and drug parapherna­lia stemming from a traffic stop Nov. 30, 2017, in Lorain.

According to a Lorain police report, Taylor was spotted leaving a parking lot known for drug traffickin­g and was pulled over after running a stop sign.

Officers searched Taylor and the car and found multiple signs of drug abuse, a scale and 12.7 grams of a white powdery substance, the report said.

Before being booked into jail, a strip search revealed a cellophane wrapper surroundin­g a paper bindle in Taylor’s rear end, according to the report.

The white powdery substance in the paper bindle tested positive for heroin, the report said.

Woman sentenced for assaulting EMT

A woman who assaulted medical personnel was sentenced Oct. 30 to two years of community control and to attend anger management classes.

Diesha D. Spencer, 25, of Lorain, pleaded guilty Sept. 19 to assault for the April 17 incident.

According to a Lorain police report, Spencer was arrested on a warrant after officers were called to her East 31st Street home for a report of domestic violence.

When officers arrived and found no domestic violence issue at the home, they attempted to arrest Spencer, who then claimed to have medical issues, the report said.

Life Care personnel believed Spencer was faking her symptoms but transporte­d her to Mercy Health, 3700 Kolbe Road, because she claimed she was pregnant.

Once on the gurney, Spencer became irate with a Life Care EMT and began attempting to kick him and bite his arm, the report said. She continuous­ly screamed, pulled away from Mercy staff and yanked on her restraints, which kept her from striking anyone, the report said.

Lorain juvenile reported missing

A Lorain juvenile was reported missing on Oct. 30, according to a police report.

According to the report, Ceasare Tyrone Hollis Jr., 13, of Lorain was reported missing on Oct. 30 after walking away from his residence in the 1400 block of New Jersey Ave. in at about 11:31 a.m. where he was seen by his mother heading toward Eastlawn Avenue.

Hollis’ mother did know where the juvenile may have gone and attempts to locate him following a search of the area by Lorain police were unsuccessf­ul.

Hollis, an eighth grade student at Lorain’s Longfellow Middle School, was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a blue “Titans” shirt and a navy blue jacket.
