Blessing House Rock-A-Bye Ball set
A night of dining and dancing awaits those who attend the 13th annual Rock-A-Bye Ball on Nov. 11 at Tom’s Country Place to benefit Blessing House.
The event will run from 6 to 11 p.m. and includes gourmet dining and entertainment, along with a live auction, a silent auction and raffles. This year’s theme is “Back to the Eighties” and guests are encouraged to dress in attire from “Dynasty” to “Miami Vice.”
This year three schools that held fundraisers and collections as part of the Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union’s Challenge Grant Program for the children of Blessing House will be honored – St. Benedict School in Garfield Heights, St. Jude School in Elyria and Holy Trinity School in Avon. They will be receiving our Jimmy Davis Service Award.
The featured live auction items include dinner for eight in your home provided by Fat Cats restaurant of Tremont. Also featured is lunch for two people with Nicole Miller, New York fashion designer, in New York City.
The silent auction will feature over 100 items ranging in value from $25 to $1,000. Included in the silent auction are tickets to sporting and entertainment events, fashion items, salon and spa certificates and many other great items.
