It’s time again for the annual Winterfest. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of things to know before you go.
It’s time again for Cleveland’s annual Winterfest. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of things to know before you go.
• Cleveland’s Winterfest will be 1 to 8 p.m. Nov. 25 at Public Square in downtown Cleveland.
• Horse drawn-carriage rides and ice skating are free as part of the celebration. Carriage rides run until 4:30 p.m.
• The tree lighting ceremony will be 6 to 7:15 p.m.
• Santa Claus will be on the square for Winterfest, along with Cleveland’s elected officials and special guests.
• Musical performances and entertainment will be part of the day, including DJ Skrilla, Ashley Fulton, Ohio City Singers, Harlem Globetrotters, Angela Perley, Fusion Love and The Year of Stroke Tribute, featuring live performances by Peter Lawson Jones as Carl Stokes and Dominick Farinacci & the Stokes Legacy Jazz Orchestra.
• Food trucks will be on site, including Gyro George, Manna Truck, Krav, Smooth Rider, Smokin Rock N’ Roll, Fired Up Taco Truck and Sweet! Mobile Cupcakery.
• A Kids’ Village will feature activity tents with crafts, face painting, puppet-making, inflatables, holiday characters and more.
• Local businesses and pop-up retailers will be open for attendees to purchase holiday gifts.
