LCCC taking part in Smokeout

The community is invited to join in the Great American Smokeout from 1-2 p.m., Nov. 16, at the Lorain County Community College, 1005 N. Abbe Road in Elyria.

The event will take place at the HPER welcome desk area by the fitness center lounge. Former smokers also are encouraged to come to show support.

Guests may drop in for food and fun activities to lower stress such as make their own survival kit; learn stress reduction techniques and participate in positive thinking activities.

LCCC became a tobacco-free campus as of Aug. 1.
