Archival Society selling calendar

The Vermilion Area Archival Society’s 2018 calendar “Exploring the Stops — Lake Shore Electric Railway” is available for purchase for $5 at Brummer’s Chocolates, 672 Main St.

The calendar features historic photos of interurban stops along the railway line starting at Baumhart Road to Ruggles Beach with stops including Vermilion-on-the-Lake, Linwood, Cask Villa and more, according to a news release.

Calendars also are available by mail by sending a check for $7 to VAAS, 5680 Liberty Ave., Vermilion, Ohio, 44089.
