• Hannah Bartlome of Vermilion. Bartlome is majoring in exercise science. She is the daughter of Douglas and Annette Bartlome of Vermilion. Bartlome is a 2014 graduate of Vermilion High School.

• Ryan Bowerman of Attica. Bowerman is majoring in exercise science. Bowerman is a 2016 graduate of Seneca East High School.

Jordan Speer of Sandusky, Speer is majoring in criminal justice. Speer is a 2016 graduate of Perkins High School.

• Bradley Spencer of New London. Spencer is majoring in exercise science. He is the son of David and Anne Spencer of New London. Spencer is a 2014 graduate of Black River High School.

The Exercise Science Club at Ashland University is an active and chartered club offered to any student majoring in exercise science, as well as non-majors interested in the topic.

• Ted Achladis of Avon Lake, a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School majoring in middle childhood education, earned the Emma Louise Gerhard Scholarship.

• Stanley Bleich of North Ridgeville, a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, earned the Lloyd & Mildred Hoffman Scholarship.

• Damon Bollin of Rochester,a graduate of New London High School majoring in pre-physical therapy, earned the C.A. Peterson Scholarship and the Leonard & Elizabeth Brice/ASPA Scholarship.

• Taylor Bollin of Wellington, a graduate of New London High School majoring in accounting, earned the Robert Fricke Scholarship.

• Precious Boone of Elyria, a graduate of Elyria High School majoring in sociology, earned the Letitia Richard Scholarship.

• Scott Boyce of Westlake, a graduate of Westlake High School majoring in sport management, earned the Lloyd & Mildred Hoffman Scholarship.

• Joella Byron-Dixon of Oberlin, a graduate of Oberlin Senior High School majoring in psychology, earned the Charles & Mary Jane Spahr Scholarship.

• Cameron Cabot of North Olmsted , a graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School majoring in arts management and entrepreneurship, earned the Donald & Connie Rebar Scholarship.

• Sara Cardman of Norwalk, a graduate of Norwalk High School majoring in computer science and psychology, earned the Florence N. Gray Scholarship.

• Chase Castle of Norwalk, a graduate of Norwalk High School majoring in keyboard performance and music history and literature, earned the E.S. & M.R. Griffiths Scholarship and the Lois S. Mincks Memorial Scholarship.

• Alexandre Coker of Wellington, a graduate of Wellington Senior High School majoring in music education, earned the Dr. Carl Bechberger Scholarship.

• Dylan Cook of Lorain, a graduate of Lorain County Early College High School majoring in English, earned the Ameilia & Clara Harding Scholarship, the JoAnne V. & W.

• Grayson Lappert English Scholarship, the Milton & Mary Oakes Scholarship and the Obie Bender Diversity Affairs Scholarship.

BW has a long history of endowed scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. More than 385 named scholarships provide over $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. Endowed scholarships vary in their requirements with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.
