Residents inducted into BW society
Local students stand among a distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University that has reached BW’s pinnacle of academic honor society achievement with fall 2017 induction into the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society.
The following students were honored with membership that is achieved by less than 4 percent of the undergraduate student body:
• Nura Ali of Westlake, a graduate of Westlake High School.
• Katelyn Botke of North Olmsted, a graduate of Christian Community School majoring in mathematics.
• Dylan Cook of Lorain, a graduate of Lorain County Early College High School majoring in English. • John Dickson of Avon, a graduate of Avon High School majoring in English.
• Laert Fejzullari of North Olmsted, a graduate of Lakewood High School majoring in chemistry and economics.
• Christen Ford of Lorain, a graduate of Midview High School majoring in computer science.
• Nicholas Hammond of Avon, a graduate of Avon High School majoring in history and integrated science teaching.
• Mason Harsar of Lorain, a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School majoring in marketing.
• Andrew Patterson of Oberlin, a graduate of Open Door Christian School majoring in finance.
• Leandra Patton of Lorain, a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School majoring in creative writing and French.
• Kenneth Wilson of North Olmsted, a graduate of Willingboro High School.
In order to be considered for induction, students must have earned a minimum of 70 semester hours, with at least 32 semester hours earned at BW. From those meeting the semester hour requirement, the top 100 current student GPAs are eligible for membership.
