Finance Director Steve Presley asked Council to consider passage on first reading due to vehicle’s immediate availability

“The vehicle is available,” Presley said. “It is sitting on the lot and is another reason to do it locally instead of waiting up to eight weeks.”

Council also will consider legislation to advertise bids for sand dredging at Miller Road Park, maintenance of the boat launch for the boating season and removing sand and sediment from the harbor for boats to navigate into Lake Erie.

Bids for 2018 asphalt and concrete street maintenance and street tree planting programs are under consideration on first reading Feb. 12. The park fertilization program will get consideration as a motion.
