What: D-III North Ridgeville District sectional semifinal When: 7 p.m., Feb. 21 Where: Columbia High School, 14168 W. River Road, Columbia Station For the record: Columbia has been relatively strong this season, but seen its fair share of ups and downs en route to an 11-11 record. ... The Raiders won three of their last four entering the postseason, but lost the previous four prior to that. ... Columbia and Oberlin faced off a week ago, with the Raiders winning, 58-49, at home. Earlier in the year, Columbia traveled to Oberlin and topped the Phoenix, 55-32, on Jan. 10 . ... Oberlin finished the regular season at 4-18, but there were a handful of games that the Phoenix found themselves losing in the final moments. In other words, Oberlin’s record is a bit deceiving . ... Columbia will need to have a strong shooting night, as Oberlin has a tendency to be strong on the boards.

For the record: Open Door has hovered around .500 for the majority of the season, but struggled down the stretch to finish the regular season at 9-12. ... The Patriots are more battle-tested than usual, having played one of its toughest regular season schedules in years . ... When the Patriots are shooting well, they can win with ease. It’s when the ball is not going through the hoop that Open Door has struggled, as its defense has been streaky throughout the season . ... This will be one of the longer bus trips for Open Door, as Lake Center Christian is between Akron and Canton.
