Police and court briefs Police seek suspect who fired shots

Police are looking for an individual who fired two rounds in the parking lot at 5100 Ashland Ave. at 12:01 a.m. March 12, according to a Lorain police report.

A witness told police he heard two shots and looked to see a dark-colored Nissan four-door vehicle leave the scene at a high rate of speed, the report said.

Police could not find any suspects, but found two spent .40 casings and two live .40 cal rounds in the northwest corner of the parking lot.
