• The North Ridgeville Football League will host an Easter Egg Hunt (weather permitting, will post on Facebook) at 2 p.m. March 25, for all present and future players and cheerleaders, ages 13 and younger. There will be free tote bags to the first 100 participants. There will also be three half- price registration vouchers hidden in the eggs. Those attending will also save $20 on their 2018 North Ridgeville Football League registration at the Easter Egg Hunt. For more information, call Bob Miscuda at 216-598-7662.

• The Amherst community Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Amherst Lions and Leo Clubs will be 10:30 a.m. March 31, when the Easter Bunny will arrive. The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. for children ages ten and younger. There will be three hunt areas: toddler to age 3; ages 4 through 6 years of age, and 7 to 10 years of age.

Parents parking will be limited to the park. Please arrive early to plan parking at alternate locations. The fun will be promptly at 11:30 a.m. Donations of unwanted eyeglasses are requested.

• The Oberlin Easter Egg Hunt will be March 31 in on Tappan Square. Times are 11 a.m. for ages 0-3; 11:20 a.m. ages 4-6; 11:40 a.m. ages 7-10. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to the event to snap photos of their children with the Easter Bunny. OberlinKids made some changes to the egg hunt last year and hope to continue making it even more sustainable this year. OberlinKids will recycle all the eggs at the end of each age group’s hunt. The 4,000 eggs prepared by Premier Toyota in Amherst and Lorain High School seniors, in conjunction with the Lorain County Volunteer Connection, will be scattered as in years past with most of the eggs empty and some filled with prize tickets or a free kids meal coupon and treat provided by Elyria Texas Roadhouse. After the children have collected their eggs they will open them to determine if any contain a prize ticket. There will be prizes for all three age groups. Parents should accompany their children to the OberlinKids tables in the center of Tappan Square. Children will then turn in all the empty eggs to redeem them for goodies for their baskets, as well as redeem any prize tickets.
