Dolores Chrapczynski (nee Kozlowski)
Dolores Chrapczynski (nee Kozlowsaway ki), age 86, of Lorain, passed Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain, following a lengthy illshe ness.
Born August 4, 1931 in Lorain, graduated from Lorain High School in 1949 and lived in Lorain most of her life. Dolores worked as a cashier at Meyer Goldberg for many years.
She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lorain. She was also a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Drill Team and Laleague dies Auxiliary.
Dolores enjoyed league bowling, having served as secretary, crocheting, puzzles, pinochle, vacationing and traveling to perform in parades with the PLAV drill team.
Surviving are her sons, Daniel of Sheffield Village, Thomas of Vermilion and Kenneth of Florida; daughters, Suzanne Walker of Vermilion, Peggy Rothman of Jacksonville and Digreat-grand2002; ane Guting of Lorain; 11 grandchildren and 6 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo in parents, Stanley and Josephine (nee Lesiecki) Kozlowski; and sisters, Rose Super and Patricia Kozlowski.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Thursof day at 9:30 a.m. followed by mass at 10 a.m. at Nativity the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. Rev. Richard Gonser, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
