Lorain native’s musical film to play at Chinese Theater in Hollywood
A Lorain native will have her newest music video featured at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, according to a news release.
Jaclyn Bradley Palmer’s latest song and video, “Love the Bodies We’re in,” will have its world premiere at the iconic as part of the “Dances with Film” festival June 15, the release said.
The theater best known for showcasing the handprints of Hollywood legends will feature the single shot film, produced in the Netherlands and directed by William Serné, which relays the importance of embracing all aspects of life’s journey.
“People that come in and out of our lives, bring with them both beauty and pain,” Palmer said. “But it all, eventually, leads us to where we are meant to be.”
The song featured in the video is a single from Palmer’s latest EP titled “Be it Wild or Poetic,” and is available for streaming and download on Spotify and iTunes, the release said.
Her previous music video, a tribute to the victims of gun violence, was an official selection at the 2017 Orlando Film Festival. Palmer also has appeared on programs including “The Voice of Holland,” HGTV’s “House Hunters International,” VH1’s “Breaking Bonaduce” and “The Rachel Zoe Project” on Bravo, according to the release. Palmer’s voice and jingle could recently be heard in a commercial for Liberty Ford.
She says she has never forgotten where she came from.
“Right after the film festival, I plan to come home and attend the Lorain International Festival,” she said.
“And nothing beats that.”
