- Staff report

Lorain native Jaclyn Bradley Palmer debuted her latest film “Love The Bodies We’re In,” at The Chinese Theater in Hollywood, famed for displaying the handprints of legends along the iconic walk of fame, according to a news release.

The film was released the weekend of June 16 and featured as an official selection at the “Dances with Films” Festival in Los Angeles, which has been listed as a top U.S. 10 film festival along with Sundance, Tribecca and SXSW, according to the release.

Bradley Palmer walked the red carpet and attended the festival with her father, Lorain attorney Jack W. Bradley.

Bradley served as producer on the film, which was created in the Netherlands and directed by Willem Serné. It relays the importance of embracing every moment in life’s journey, according to the release.

“People and experiences enter our lives, bringing both beauty and pain with them,” Bradley Palmer said in the release. “But, every moment, good or bad, just leads us to the place we are meant to be.”

The song in the video is a single from her latest EP, “Be it Wild or Poetic,” available for streaming and download on Spotify and iTunes.

Her previous music video was an official selection at the 2017 Orlando Film Festival, according to the release.

Bradley Palmer and her music also have appeared on programs such as “The Voice of Holland,” HGTV’s “House Hunters International,” VH1’s “Breaking Bonaduce,” and Bravo’s “The Rachel Zoe Project.”

Bradley Palmer also led the largest music therapy study in history in 2015 to research the effect of live music in surgery at University Hospitals.

She will be recognized as one of the city of Lorain’s distinguished alumni for her contributions to the arts the weekend of June 22.
