United Church of Christ, Congregational, 990 State St. in Vermilion, will hold an immigration and justice rally July 1, according to a news release.
The rally will welcome a number of speakers to address the impact of the recent ICE raid on Corso’s Garden Center on families in Norwalk and surrounding communities, the release said.

Tables will be available on site for writing letters to congressional representatives about the situation in Norwalk, as well as sample letters and phone sheets to take home and share with others, according to the release.
In addition, local organizations will attend to share information about their work with immigrant communities, the release said.
Donations will be collected for HOLA Ohio, a local grassroots organization working with the families, according to the release.
Volunteers will collect supplies in support of a drive sponsored by St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Norwalk.
Items in need are diapers, infant formula, “Nido” brand fortified milk, and socks and underwear in all sizes, the release said.
