Antique tractor show set at New London Recreation Park July 28
The 23rd Annual F.A.R.M. (Firelands Area Restorers of Machines) Antique Tractor Show takes place July 28 and 29 at the New London Recreation Park at 2 Blake St., according to a news release.
Organizers this year will feature International Harvester tractors and equipment, as well as Cub Cadet and hit and miss engines, the release said.
Admission to the show is by donation.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m. July 28, with opening ceremonies and tractor games followed by the tractor parade at 10:30 a.m. and a pie auction at 1 p.m. Danny Beck will provide entertainment from 2 to 4 p.m.
Festivities on July 29 starts with a church service at 9 a.m., followed by the garden tractor fun pull at 10 a.m., the power wheels derby at noon, the kiddie pedal tractor pull at 2 p.m. and a raffle drawing at 3 p.m. This year’s drawing is for a bright red Farmall M pedal tractor. Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5, and available from club members and at the show, according to the release.
Throughout the show, there will be a flea market and craft show, exhibits and demonstrations and wagon rides provided by Gene Kurzen.
Also, the Ashland Model Railroad & Rail Fans Club will display a model train layout, and special guests will be members of the Buckeye Wheel Horse Collectors Club, the release said.

F.A.R.M. is made up of people interested in farm machines and equipment.
Meetings are at the North Fairfield Township Hall at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month and visitors are always welcome.
