Marc Byrnes joins Proformex board
Marc Byrnes, formerly chairman of Oswald Companies, has joined the Board of Directors of Proformex insurance company in Westlake, according to a news release.
Proformex is the creator of a life insurance policy monitoring platform designed to give insurance brokerages, agents, fiduciaries and financial planners better oversight into the performance of in-force insurance policies, the release said.
As an industry insider with extensive experience and expertise, Byrnes understands and validates the ongoing need for proactive life insurance policy management through powerful software that optimizes the process, the release said.
“Marc brings true industry influence with a focus on exceeding the expectations of life insurance policy owners,” said Mike Pepe, CEO and founder of Proformex.
“He is an adamant supporter of Proformex being the technological catalyst this industry needs to simplify and optimize processes, keeping client satisfaction top of mind throughout the journey.”
Under Byrnes’ leadership with Oswald, the 125-year old employee-owned company, it has had significant growth and earned its position among the top 50 largest insurance brokers in the United States, the release said.
The firm is also ranked among the elite top 10 privately held brokers in the country, specializing in employee benefits and financial services.
“Change must happen from within,” Byrnes said. “I am an industry advocate and firm believer that what Proformex has already created is truly innovative.
“This software is what we need as an industry to thrive into the future. Most importantly, we need to leverage this platform to empower life insurance policy owners to protect themselves and their families.”
