Urban sprawl goes too far
Conservancy easements are a solution — designed for the protection from urban sprawl which tends to go too far without respect to surrounding neighbors.
Avon’s Chester Road is being hit hard by commercial buildings along with nearby residential allotments that always works out to be too much for all surrounding neighborhoods.
The biggest company responsible for the Chester Road sprawl is the Jacobs Group who recently devastated all the land in the Avon Crossing right around the corner.
Nothing left but commercial buildings and parking lots.
Protecting the environment should be No. 1 or a close second. It looks as though there’s no respect for the way the planet was designed to sustain itself.
Truck traffic alone will harm the environment after taking away all the woods from the 125-acre area.
And then just speckling dwarf ornamental trees around with pristine high maintenance grounds will just cause or keep the environment in a downward spiral. The 1970s are long gone. Conservation of all natural resources would be a smarter way — which includes wise watering practices (early morning), not using chlorinated tap water on established lawns and retaining unkept fields in and around properties.
