• Eric Haase’s sacrifice fly in the sixth inning scored the go-ahead run and Triple-A Columbus beat Toledo, 4-2. Yu Chang, Drew Maggi and Oscar Mercado each had two hits for the Clippers, including a triple from Mercado. Adam Wilk got the win, allowing one run off six hits and three walks in 7 2⁄3 innings while striking out three. Josh Martin earned the save.

• Bowie scored three runs in the third inning and beat Double-A Akron, 5-3. Andrew Calica and Mark Mathias each had two hits for the RubberDuck­s while the Baysox put up 12 hits. Argenis Angulo was charged with the loss in relief. He threw two innings, allowing three runs off seven hits.

• Single-A Lynchburg gave up an early 2-0 lead and lost to Wilmington, 4-3. Dillon Persinger, Nolan Jones and Mitch Longo (Mayfield) each had two hits for the Hillcats, including a double from Jones and a triple from Longo. Tanner Tully took the loss in 3 1⁄3 innings. Tully allowed three runs (two earned) off seven hits and struck out four.

• Single-A Lake County scored three runs in the 10th inning to beat Bowling Green, 5-2. Jesse Berardi got the scoring started with an RBI double before Jose Vicente hit a two-run home run. Reliever Robert Broom retired the final three Bowling Green batters in order to preserve the win. Vicente went 3-for-5 on the day including two homers, Todd Issacs was 3-for-4 and Will Benson 2-for-4 with a double. • Williamspo­rt jumped out to a 1-0 lead before being held scoreless, and Single-A Short-Season Mahoning Valley won, 4-1. Jose Fermin led the offense, going 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs scored and an RBI. Tyler Freeman and Angel Lopez Alvarez each added two hits for the Scrappers. Starter Juan Mota got the win and Erick Algarin earned a save.
