OLMSTED FALLS, SENIOR >> FOOTBALL, QUARTERBACK On the field: The Bulldogs signal-caller did a bit of everything in a 55-28 win over Brecksville-Broadview Heights. He was 10-for-13 for 193 yards and two touchdowns, adding 62 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries.

AMHERST, SENIOR >> SOCCER, GOALKEEPER On the pitch: In three games last week, Hazelgrove had a 0.33 goals against average and a 95-percent save percentage. He had 10 saves in a key performance that led to a win over Lakewood and got the Comets off to a 3-0-0 start.
Levi Jamison VERMILION, SENIOR >> FOOTBALL, LINEBACKER On the field:
The senior linebacker is a big reason the Sailors defense held Oberlin to 13 points in a Week 1 win. Jamison tallied 11 tackles and recovered three fumbles on the night.

FAIRVIEW, JUNIOR >> FOOTBALL, RUNNING BACK/SAFETY On the field: Kaufmann was everywhere for the Warriors in a 30-24 triple-overtime loss to Rocky River. The junior had five tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups and a forced fumble on defense, adding five carries for 60 yards on offense.

MIDVIEW, SENIOR >> GOLF On the course: Lewis has been strong for the Middies so far this season. Last week, he carded a 37 at Forest Hills against Amherst and a 39 at Springvale against North Olmsted. He is averaging a 78 in tournaments this season.
