Rosary for unborn: Faiths and all nations are invited to pray the Rosary of the Unborn at St. Anthony of Padua Church, in the Eucharistic Chapel at 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain. Rosaries are prayed the first Saturday of every month, every half hour, on the hour, from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. — for an end to abortion within our nation and throughout the world. (The last rosary is said at 3:30, prayed in St. Anthony Church, not in the Eucharistic Chapel, just before 4:00 p.m. Mass.) The next event is Oct. 6. Rosary Coast-to-Coast: On Oct. 7, at 4 p.m. a national effort called Rosary Coast-To-Coast will also take place locally on the St. Joseph Parish, Avon Lake grounds. This cooperative effort is being conducted by the Knights of Columbus, Holy Trinity Adult Faith Formation and neighboring parishes in conjunction with over 750 national events simultaneously conducted in addition to the live streamed event from Washington, D.C., in St. Peters and on the steps of our nation’s capitol. There are also several nations participating in this event. Bring your own chair and rosary for this outdoor event, (we will move inside the church in the event of foul weather).
