Vermilion went 2-0 on the week and remains No. 7, but could improve its position in the final Crop if the Sailors pull off a win over Division III’s top-ranked team: Huron . ... Westlake went 2-0 this week but remains at No. 8 due to strength of schedule. The Demons face No. 5 Amherst in their final regular season game of the year Oct. 11. ... Rocky River beat No. 10 Bay and lost, 3-1, to D-II’s third-ranked team, Holy Name, keeping the Pirates at No. 9 . ...
